A few long years in the making, I finally saw TV on the Radio in a club. It was well worth the wait, and was so good that this dude was wiggin’ out outside afterwards like he had a hot iron in his back pocket. The brosephs rocked a bunch of tunes from their so-far-Album-of-the-Year album, Return to Cookie Mountain, which I still feel has really crappy, overdone hyper-commercial graphics. What can ya do. They also kicked a bunch of old tunes, so we got fully saturated.
As predicted, I jammed my booty off to “Wolf Like Me”, which is one of the best examples of Sitek’s insano-fast guitaring. He could probably carve a duck out of soap in under a minute. “Province” was actually a little slow for my liking, but still shook the barn. They played for pretty long time and hit us up with three songs in the encore that kinda dragged, but were still entirely badasstastic.
Out front, we got back with Jaleel and we actually gave him a cookie (out of the batch for the Ringling clowns). We told him about FOAM and then he got swamped. Totally solid night, and I can cross one more off the list.

When we were leaving the show that bugged out dude I think you’re talking about came rushing through the wall to wall crowd with his eye’s all bugged out. Must have been an interesting show for that guy.
Staring at the Sun was just pure “jump for joy”. I had never heard that song before. My friend found that weird. I do to.
