1. Commons Mistake
The I.R.A. wanted to show their distaste for British sovereignty, but bombed the House of Commons instead of House of Lords in 1974. They didn’t realize the House of Commons doesn’t do anything important, and were mocked for their act.
2. Kremlin Kaper
An Uzbek national walked up to the Kremlin with a machine gun, with the intent of capturing government hostages, but walked into a plate of glass and was knocked unconscious.
3. Baghdad Bozo
A man claiming to have dynamite arrived at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, but when the guards played dog noises over the intercom, the man ran away and up a tree where he was later captured.
4. Pwned Backyard
An angry Irishman wanted to blow up an English bank down the street from his family’s restaurant, but in a drunken stupor, accidentally detonated it in front of his own store, destroying everything.
5. Stowaway, Go Away
Two Pakistani men hid in the wheel wells of an Indian Airlines flight, but fell out as the plane was retracting its landing gear while taking off. They fell over 300 feet onto the tarmac, and were sent to jail.
