Killer Cars
Since Radiohead’s show here fell on Sunday & Monday nights, I decided to spend the day on Monday drinking refreshing PBR and building a model car, among other things.
The model car is none other than the BMW 320i, the sporty coupe that could be from the 70’s or 80’s, who knows. I gave it a swirling blue paint job, rocked all of the paint inside the car like Van Gogh, and intentionally left the rear bumper off to give it that Bosnian look.
I even gave it some abstract, death-fish type of paint detail, so now the mouse in the house can drive it around like Stuart Little and crash it Jackson Pollock style. RIP, li’l Bitey.
World Cup Germany Update 1
World Cup 2006 set to kick off
Well, Völker, it’s finally here. The sweet, sweet World Cup is a few hours away, and I, for one, am so excited that I will probably call in sick every single day for the next month to watch the games, regardless of if there’s even a game that day or not. It’s been a long four years.
I’ve extensively analyzed the field, and while several countries are tempting picks to win it all, I’ve decided on a slight darkhorse. That’s right. Host nation Germany is going to take the trophy, er, home. Their keepers are unbelievable, and just like France in ‘98, have an amazing home field advantage.
My official World Cup ‘06 champions pick: Deutschland

| Time to get this World Cup party started! It’s opening day here in Germany, and I’ve been awake for the last 72 hours! There are needles sticking out of my arm, and I sold Kitt for a tiny bag of coke! Ach! So stupid! |
