We got there late, unfortunately, somewhere around Boo. The place was packed and the crowd was buzzing most of the time. One of the more energetic shows I’ve seen at Paradise lately. Some mook jumped the stage, bumrushed the mic (twice?) and stage-dove straight into the ground. Then he got the boot, to the applause of the crowd. Cool.

The band was tight, naturally, and it was a long, spankin’ set. Fortress and AFK were oh so good to end the main set with, but the encore was a little flat for my taste. Didn’t really matter, though, cause I and just about everyone else seemed to have a great time, especially at a Derby Day concert like this.

So yesterday at the Super 88, I randomly stumbled on three products that excited, intrigued, and offended me. The first is some sort of Cock Special Fish Sauce. ’nuff said. The second is bottled water, but instead of water, it’s apparently sweat. Mmm, delicious. And last is Fukien Cooking Chiew, which came out a little blurry, but my point has been made. Go find this stuff yourself, I’m sure you’ll find ten more that are even worse.
