Personally, I don’t see what LCD Soundsystem has to do with Hot Chip, but it makes for good hype. Either way, Hot Chip’s chill-housepop album The Warning is worth a gander. Led by the single, “Over and Over”, The Warning feels like Craig David hanging with the Beta Band. Cheeky, tumbling lyrics chat with digibounce at some well-lit, pasty-skinned, basement party and end up making out on some stylish couch. Groovy.

ok, 99.9. hot chip are my favorite band at the mo. i’ve took ‘em to my heart and cant help but smile when i hear their soulful pop

The name Hot Chip makes me think of a buffalo poo steaming in a Wyoming pasture. That is no reflection of their music.

Hot Chip is coming to Great Scott in Allston on March 13th. I can’t wait to see them live!
