New Dove ads bring inspiration, ridicule

what's so funny??I remember I was walking around the Gramercy area and saw one of these ads. I proclaimed, “Now that’s something I didn’t need to see right now.”

It’s the age-old question. Are hot “curvy” chicks hot? As I see it, those curvy models are as ridiculous a representation of curvy women as regular models are of all women.

The answer is, as always, “who cares?”

MassholePort says Logan’s free wi-fi ‘unacceptable risk’, charges $7.95/day to use theirs

Just when you thought the flying experience was actually improving from its hellish status, MassPort decided to wreck your fun, and charge you for using what people are giving away. As if polluting the air with thick smog wasn’t enough, now they pollute it with asinine regulations &fees.

If you’re like me, you’ve worked in an office full of charming Italian-Americans. This headline comes as no surprise.

  1. Let’s play follow the Massport Logic:

    Statement: WiFi poses a risk.
    Solution: Charge Users.

    So therefore:

    1. The risk posed by WiFi is minimal since we are not banning WiFi.

    2. Massport is trying to convince us that the $7.95 fee will deter terroists who are already willing to commit suicide attacks. They may be willing to give up their lives, but they are too cheap and or stubborn to pay the $7.95 fee.

  2. Azzam: “Hey, Kapeesh, I wrote a virus that could disable all airport communication and cause planes to fly into the ground!”

Kapeesh: “Great! How do we use it?”

Azzam: “We just have to get it onto an airport network somehow.”

Kapeesh: “We could use the Wi-Fi here, but it’s $7.95 to get access.”

    Azzam: “Screw it.”

  3. Hey, doesn’t MassPort know that its exactly this type of “free-market” thinking that the terrrorists are trying to destroy?!!!???!!! If you ask me, this only increases the likelihood of terrorist attempts to destroy Logan airport through the wireless network! What we need to do is make it free for men, but deny access to women!!!
