ABC’s Jennings could be winner as Brokaw, Rather step aside
Tonight, Tom Brokaw will slug through his last newscast for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. In a bid to rename the show to NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, Brian Williams convinced Brokaw to retire after many recent years of struggle with his on-camera presence and pandering novels.
The move ushers in a new era of relevance for Peter Jennings.

Claiming he had “no idea what he was doing”, Tom “tha Bomb” Ridge has given up as Homeland Security Wizard. Next up: some other idiot.
Dominican man has extra finger removed
I personally don’t see why anyone would have their extra digits removed. Seems like an evolutionary benefit to me.
A world where everyone had 12 fingers and 12 toes would clearly be superior to ours in many ways:
