A strong theory regarding the death of Dirt McGirt (Russell Jones) involves the circumstances preceding his death.
On the day he died, ODB was reportedly paid a visit by Posh Spice and 3 large men at the studio @ 545 West 34th Street, where he died.

Part 1
I have confirmed with several sources that wish to remain anonymous that Colin Powell is likely to be involved with the death of rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard (real name: Russell Jones).

All sources agree that Powell and Jones had a series of exclusive meetings from early 2001 to late 2003 at the Hotel Gran Capitan in Havana. The subject of those meetings is thought to be about a possible reality tv show and/or illegal gun and drug trafficking.
There is speculation that Jones had over $500,000 in personal debt, due to the illegal activity, to Powell, and Jones’ refusal to pay them off was based upon several sexual solicitations that he felt covered the balance.

In May 2004, Powell was interviewed outside a Washington, D.C. embassy, during which he pointed to the camera and said, “You dirty bastard! I’ll get you for this!”, as he concluded. He remained vague when asked about the incident up until his resignation as Secretary of State.
According to insiders, it is highly probable that Powell’s resignation was ordered by the Bush administration so that it may distance itself from any speculation and further investigation into ODB’s death.
