Crappy Political Parties permalink

Thermodynamic Law Party

thermodynamic law partyThis has to be the nerdiest cause I’ve ever heard of.

The goal of this particular political party is to have the Constitution abolished, and have certain physicists’ laws be our nation’s standard.

For example, Welsh’s 5th law of thermal energy states that light is absorbed by metallic entities faster than sound while underwater. Uh, so does that mean I can be naked in public or what?

Prohibition Party

Lame. Lame. Lame. Lame. Lame. Lame. Lame.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Light Party

light partyThe Light Party has several major agendas/problems, the most important is that America develops a second sun, but with magnetic properties so that it follows Earth’s spin, and causes daylight in the U.S. 24/7.

Personally, I enjoy nighttime quite a bit, so I’ve taken the liberty to send a dead skunk inside a cardboard box to their headquarters.

Pansexual Peace Party

What was once the mighty Whig party has become the oft-mocked Pansexual Peace Party.

pansexual peace partyEver since Franklin Pierce, 12th president of the United States and Whig party member, declared his pansexuality, the public opinion of this organization has dramatically declined.

I guess America just doesn’t like open, loud, colorful sex in public that much. Not like Sweden, anyway. Some day…sigh

‘04 Election Cost Estimate: Nearly $4 Billion

According to this report, about $4 billion is being spent on all of these elections, with the presidential race costing over $1.2 billion. This makes me wonder what other elections are actually going on.

-Mississippi U.S. House 2nd District
A white supremacist vs. an ex-truck driver

-Massachusetts U.S. House 9th District
Uncontested - first ex-con in U.S. House of Rep.

-Arkansas U.S. House 2nd District
12 people have died in election-related incidents

R. Kelly Sues Jay-Z for $75 Million

Reginald Oswald Kelly IVIf you ask me, this duel is way more interesting than the presidential race. While Bush calls Kerry a flip-flopper, and Kerry says Dubya lied to us, Jay-Z tries to get R. Kelly shot on stage at MSG, and R. slaps Jigga with a flagrant suit.

Unfortunately, due to the sheer wealth possessed by both men, I don’t think this will turn into a 2pac/B.I.G. shooting conspiracy. It’ll probably end up in some homoerotic prison conspiracy.

103-Year-Old Has Been Voting Since 1920

Sadly, she’s voted for the losing candidate in all 21 elections. She even voted for Elizabeth Taylor in 1968. This is why democracy doesn’t work.
