Name b.good’s Burger permalink

b.good

name this burgerOur good friends, Anthony and Jon, at b.good want you to name their brand new burger (left). They’re so desperate that they’ll give you free food for life at their store, an offer only a vegan could turn down.

The contest ends on Monday, so hurry up, yo. The place is in Copley Square, so you should actually eat there. There’s a petting zoo inside the restaurant!

Bush’s camp gets gift from ‘Azzam the American’

Azzam the AmericanAzzam the American?! Ugh.

Good god, this is the worst BS terrorism threat the Bush Administration has conjured up yet. This has all the makings of a total sham, especially due to its timing and idiotic premise.

Even if it turns out to be real, I’ll look stupid for saying that, but W’ll look even worse for not preventing it. Ah, I can’t wait till there are terrorist clown videos.

Washington Redskins give best election prediction

Over the previous 15 presidential elections, the ’skins’ last home game prior to Election Day has predicted the winner. If they win, the incumbent stays in power.

Obviously, all we have to do to get Dubz out of office is to make sure that the Redskins don’t win. Can we arrange some hits put out for Clinton Portis, and uh….hm, I guess that’s it.

Nicely done, Boston permalink

I would like to congratulate the Red Sox and the City of Boston and all of New England on their 2004 World Championship.

Now all you have left is the curse of Michael Dukakis. That’s right, Kerry has no chance. You’ll all come crying back to me! HA!

Red Sox sweep St. Louis for first World Series title since 1918; #%@$ing curse exorcised

What can you say? Pedro/Curt/Lowe: 20 IP, 0 ER. Foulke: 4/4 saves. Manny: hit .412. Rolen: 0-for-15. etc, etc, etc, etc….

One of the most perfectly executed World Series in baseball history.

Manny Ramirez wins World Series MVP

manny is mvpHow can you not freaking love Manny? The dude is the most cartoonish character on a team of ridiculous personalities, he’s arguably the Sox and AL’s best player, and barely gives a crap and still wins trophies.

I hope he does something insane at the victory parade like streak through the Common. We all know he’s ripe for something worthy of front page news.

Lowe authors another clutch performance

We all saw it coming. Contract year. Climactic frustration. Then, boom, the best start of his season. So clutch. Give that man many millions.

World Series Game 3 Recap permalink

Game Three Box Score

In the most unbelievable storyline in playoff history of any sport, the Red Sox find themselves in the once-invincible position of being up 3-0 in a best-of-seven series.
drip DRIP
Thanks to a ridiculous performance by Pedro in his World Series debut, Manny’s tone-setting jack, Foulke’s automaticity, and Jeff Suppan screwing everything up that he possibly could, the Sox slapped the Cards for a solid 4-1 win last night.

The best part about the whole thing is that Boston could burn down in joy either tonight, tomorrow, Saturday, or if it came down to it, hopefully Sunday.
freaking MORON
I hope the cops hang on every pitch to find out if 500,000 2,000,000 people will be flooding the streets.

If the Sox sweep the Cards, it’s the fault of bullpen catcher Jeff Murphy, who was ominously dusting a mound with a broom last night. Jackalope. Even McCarver called him out for that stupid crap.
