the worst part is, they write for the lexington, kentucky newspaper. this moron claimed to see a book about new york’s language and accent, and got the idea to do the same for kentucky. so she proceeds to list a bunch of stupid mispronunciations and wacky spellings and then define them in plain english, e.g.:

“Arful purty.” - Of breathtaking beauty.

not only have i seen at least 3 different forwarded emails on this exact subject, but i’m sure the same style of email exists for just about every language out there. on top of that, the article isn’t remotely funny, and from what i can tell, the author hasn’t been fired yet.
