last night i stopped watching Lost In Translation with about 30 minutes to go because i thought it was so boring. the directing is beautiful but the acting is pure bill murray crap and miss scarlett never quite fit right. so awkward it made me cringe. hype is a terrible thing.

Wisc. Alderman Fights For Mannequin in His Office

as far as municipal governments go, i’ve always said that mannequins would make things run much more smoothly. the problem with this situation is, however, that the mannequin isn’t actually doing someone’s job, it’s simply just there to greet and horrify passers-by.

if the mannequin quietly took a position in the comptroller’s or mayor’s office, i seriously doubt anyone would object or even notice.
