Barbeque Blowout permalink

seeing as it’s coming up on the 3rd weekend of May, it’s time we all started to do a little more barbequeing.

the weather’s probably nice where you are, i’m sure you have friends, and are willing to have fun.

here’s a step-by-step process of how to have a kickin bbq:

Purchase a grill or grill-like substance:
Consumer Reports Grillinfo - Ace Hardware - Costco - Lowe’s - Sears - Yahoo Shopping - BBQ in the UK

For starters:
-Grilling HQ @ epicurious.com

-Converse with other BBQ people

-Tales of urban grilling

-Barbecue books at B&N

What to burn:
-Tons of recipes (like you need any more)

-Get fresh, frozen BBQ shipped anywhere

-Montgomery Inn. nuff said.

What to wear:
-Minimalist/Sarcastic aprons

-Classy/Cheap aprons

-Psychotic BBQ apron family

For the amateurs:
-Martha Stewart Grilling Recipes & Etiquette

that’s pretty much all you should need, except for some sweet BBQin’ music. i personally recommend something upbeat, perhaps with a splash of reggae. remember, the first rule of BBQ music is “the looser the beat, the sweeter the meat”

also, if applicable, be sure to set a kid’s table. BBQ can be messy and obnoxious, so the quarantine method may be necessary.

Good luck and be sure to lick your fingers before answering your cell phone.
