rumsfeld must apologize to the american people and resign if the bush administration wants to save any face out of this election-year scandal. bush did his little job of apologizing to the rest of the world basically so now it’s time for someone to do it at home.
and with this admission to congress, i believe a resignation should be demanded. this is far too important to american global relations for someone not to be publicly punished for it, as the administration misled us into thinking these types of crimes wouldn’t happen by our hands, and that the war would show how civil america can be. clearly we were lied to. again.
