Clarke claims the Bush administration didn’t do enough prior to 9/11 to prevent it, and that Rice, among others, are specifically responsible.
For Clarke to say that, he only has to analyze hindsight, which we all can do. Plus, he released a best-selling book recently.

Global music sales fall for four years in a row
while i try to be as objective as possible when commenting on world news, i have to admit that this is some of the best news i’ve heard in a while.
the sleaze that run the major labels, while grossly inhuman, still feel pain when they’re not getting as much money as they think, and that puts a smile on my face. i’m glad that internet downloading is responsible for some part of the decline, but i’m not willing to concede the entire reason for the drop.
since the pop hype climax of the late 90’s, which was the pure definition of “quality” for most music fans, nothing has quite piqued the interest of the masses. just like when Dubya took office, it’s like…. waiting…. waiting…. please impress us… waiting… nothing …ugh…. anything?…. waiting…
