The reason that employers don’t give you vacation time in the first 6 months or year is so that they can mentally wear you out so that you’ll be less active outside of their world and less likely to leave.

when studies come out to show stuff like how jackhammer operators live 5 years less on average because of the toll it takes on their bodies, people shouldnt be surprised.
instead, just note how many years it takes off your life. everything takes years off your life, nothing adds to it.
nothing “extends” your life…it just makes your body last longer around your mind. big whoop
