the simple reason why americans are so fat is because it’s just the typical “more more more” way of thinking in america that basically transcends all of society.

more access to famous people
more guns
more cars
more free giveaways
more food.

try to think of something that americans can control themselves about.

yeah, that’s right.

i think that in the scheme of things, terrible mass tv does more damage than terrible mass radio, although pound-for-pound, terrible radio is more pathetic.

tv does a better job of long term corruption and mind-numbing while radio is like a rollercoaster of bad taste. radio feeds you crappy music for 3 minutes then hits you with a bland, boring ad. of course that’s a complete waste of time, but only in the short run.

tv on the other hand takes years to destroy you, and most of the time you dont realize it. it’s becoming better at killing humanity in shorter periods of times (seasons) but it still has the ability to take years off your life.

clearly, they both suck.

have you ever noticed that people have preferences for individual restaurants that are part of a chain? like, they prefer the olive garden on Whatever St. compared the one across town.

they’re chains, people. chains.

i was recently attacked by a bear, an episode during which i found a diamond ring that had been in my pocket for at least 6 years. i put the ring on my right hand and pulled the bear’s left ear off. when i got home, i had the biggest bowl of porridge i’d ever had.

call it a hunch but i think that this time next year, hungary will be part of austria.
